WE CARE Responsibility
Striving Towards "NET ZERO Emissions"
As a leading global outdoor gear brand, Mammut from Switzerland has always adhered to the "WE CARE" philosophy, dedicating itself to developing top-tier outdoor products. Every member of the Mammut team involved in product design and manufacturing must embrace the WE CARE mindset of cherishing nature—what Mammut defines as a top-tier product excels not only in functionality and design but also ensures an environmentally friendly production process.
In the 2017 Environmental Ratings and Innovation Report published by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Mammut ranked first among small and medium-sized enterprises as well as Swiss companies. This achievement is the result of Mammut’s collaborative efforts with partners such as FAIR WEAR, Bluesign, and R.D.S since 2008.
As the world’s longest-standing premier outdoor brand, Mammut’s "WE CARE" corporate responsibility policy has set clear goals: to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 compared to 2018 levels and to achieve "Net Zero Emissions" by 2050.
The MAMMUT WE CARE team, following the "Greenhouse Gas Protocol" standards, evaluates the company’s greenhouse gas-related data, including its Seon headquarters, global subsidiaries, and Mammut stores, as well as aspects such as transportation and business travel.
As a Swiss outdoor brand founded in 1862, we feel a strong sense of mission to preserve what is worth keeping and improve what is not yet perfect.
