【After-Sales Service & Warranty Terms】

All MAMMUT products purchased from authorized Hong Kong flagship stores, distributors, brick-and-mortar stores, or online platforms come with a one-year product warranty.

However, this warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, normal wear and tear, or fading due to UV exposure.

It also excludes damage caused by external factors. For such cases, we offer professional repair services at the customer’s expense.

 

【Warranty & Repair Procedure】

Step 1: Clean the product to be repaired and bring it to the original point of purchase/store.
Step 2: The store will receive the product and forward it to MAMMUT’s authorized Hong Kong agent.
Step 3: The repair unit will conduct a preliminary assessment. If paid repair is required, the original store will contact you in advance.
Step 4: Once repaired, the product will be returned to the original store and handed back to you.

 

【Warranty Instructions】

Repairs within the warranty period (within one year of purchase):

1. Provide proof of purchase from the store, OR

2. Present a receipt to qualify for free repair.

Repairs outside the warranty period (over one year after purchase):
After the original store receives the product, MAMMUT’s Hong Kong agent will inspect it and provide a quotation. Repairs will proceed once an agreement is reached.

MAMMUT’s Hong Kong general agent reserves the right to modify these terms.

 

【Warranty Exclusions】

Please note! The following product categories are NOT covered under warranty:

  • Products sold through unauthorized channels (parallel imports/gray market goods).

  • Free gifts or brand merchandise, e.g., figurines, cups, thermoses, etc.

  • Products not sold by Hong Kong flagship stores or authorized distributors.

  • Products purchased at sales or special events do not qualify for standard in-store warranty.

  • Footwear is subject to normal wear; consumables such as insoles, laces, and snap fasteners are excluded.

  • Intimate apparel (e.g., underwear), pilled items, and minor down leakage in down jackets are not covered.

  • All climbing equipment and accessories, e.g., carabiners, ropes, harnesses, chalk, liquid chalk, and cleaning brushes.

  • Products that do not meet personal size or style preferences.

  • Damage due to natural wear and tear, misuse, improper use, or incorrect maintenance.

  • Moisture regain in waterproof garments is a natural phenomenon and is not covered.

  • Modifications to the original product design that cause damage will void repair eligibility.

 

 

【Repair Exclusions】

Please note! The following are NOT eligible for repair services:

  • Products sold through unauthorized channels (parallel imports/gray market goods).

  • Damage resulting from modifications to the original product design.

  • All climbing equipment and accessories, e.g., carabiners, ropes, harnesses, chalk, liquid chalk, and cleaning brushes.

Additional Notes:

  • Delamination of waterproof sealing tape due to aging may be beyond repair.

  • For accurate diagnosis and hygiene reasons, please ensure products are cleaned before submitting for repair.
